This is the first record of the species from Namibia ( Freeman 1956 ; Freeman and Cranston 1980 ; Curtis 1991 ; Harrison 2004 ). Cladotanytarsus pseudomancus is a widespread species, thus far recorded from the Afrotropical Region, including Madagascar , from the Oriental Region: India ( West Bengal ), China ( Hainan ) and the Palaearctic Region: Russian far east, France , Egypt , Saudi Arabia and Oman ( Gilka 2009 ).
