Coloration and structure as in O. compressa . Male genitalia . Pygofer in lateral view about as long as height, with basal dorsal marginal fracture, ventral margin deeply incised basally, dorsal margin beyond fracture convex for short distance then straight, posterodorsal angle acute and rounded. Subgenital plate broader in distal 0.33, with inner submarginal macrosetae in 2–3 rows. Connective and style as in Figs 38C, D . Aedeagus with dorsal apodeme plate-like, dorsolateral lobe small, with dorsal finger-like process narrowed distally, shaft slender, with dorsal marginal serration at base, broader in apical region near gonopore, with one pair of shorter and pair of apical longer appendages, their length and curvature vary. Female genitalia . Posterior margin of seventh sternum almost straight. Measurements. Male 5.2–5.5 mm long, 1.1 mm wide across eyes and 1.2–1.3 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum. ( UASB ) . BHUTAN : 1 ♂ , on Cardomom foliage ( BMNH ) . Remarks. Originally described from at least two specimens ( syntype ) with the following data: “E. Himalayas; Kurseong, and Ghumti, Darjiling Distr. (F.H. Gravely)”. O. connexa and O. compressa have an overlapping distribution and have been collected together. It is difficult to differentiate them without dissection.
