Etymology.
The specific epithet is a noun taken in apposition from the band’s name Megadeth, a
U.S.
heavy metal band lead by guitarist Dave Mustaine.
Diagnosis.
Males of
Goloboffia megadeth
sp. nov
differ from
G. vellardi
in having a thinner and longer em- bolus with a wavy tip (
Figs 33–36
); females differ from the other known species by the shape of the spermathecae with large and rounded lobes and very short ducts of the same length as spermathecal head width (
Fig. 47
).
