Euedaphic species, probably cosmopolitan (
Jordana et al. 1997
). It is found throughout the Iberian Peninsula. It is located both in forests and in meadows. The Arkalde cave specimen in
Navarra
was captured in beech litter in the debris cone under the mouth of the cavity (
Beruete 2000a
,
Beruete
et al.
2002
). It is a very common species in
Navarra
(
Jordana
et al.
1997
) so it can appear when dragged from outside. It has also been cited from the San Adrián cave in Gipuzkoa (
Stach 1954
).
