Its presence was first documented in the Coastal Sage Matorral by LaBerge & Ribble (1972) . The BBPT also collected a male in the Baja California Mountains in El Condor in 1988 preserved at SDNHM , and three females collected in 1963 at Arroyo Santo Domingo in Succulent Coastal Matorral preserved at CASC . The BBPT collected this species in the Chaparral in April ( 1 ♀ ), and May ( 1 ♀ ) 2021, and March ( 1 ♀ ) 2022, the Succulent Coastal Matorral in April 2023 ( 1 ♀ ), and Central Desert in March 2021 ( 3 ♀ ). Voucher specimens are in MABC ( 4 ♀ ) and ECOAB ( 3 ♀ ). See fig. 18.
