Description.
Head not exserted above pronotum, vertex generally wider than one eye (horizontal diameter of eyes). Antennae filiform, inserted between lower margins of eyes. Eyes not exserted above pronotal surface. Pronotum truncate anteriorly, subulate posteriorly and extends beyond apex of hind femora. Posterior margins of lateral lobes of pronotum with two concavities, posterior angles of lateral lobes of pronotum produced outwards, obliquely truncate behind. Tegmina long and oval, apex round. Wings generally present. Margins of fore and middle femora entire. Margins of hind femora finely serrulate. First and third hind tarsal segments equal in length.
