(Figs 41–42, 95–97) Material examined. Holotype , male: Turkey : “ TURKEY , Manisa: Soma, 1990. IV.21. leg. Podlussány”. ( HNHM ). 2 paratypes , females, same data as holotype (1, HNHM , 1, CPG). Diagnosis. Among the unicoloured black species from Turkey ( Platia et Gudenzi, 2002 ) it is very similar to C. acuminatus Platia et Gudenzi, 2002 , and can be separated only by the examination of genitalia. Description. Male (Fig. 41). Entirely black with moderate bronze reflexion on elytra; covered with very dense and short yellowish pubescence. Frons convex, shortly impressed at anterior margin, this moderately thickened, directed downwards, regularly curved; puncturation uniformly scattered, punctures deep, simple, with very short intervals or contiguous, of about same size. Antennae exceeding posterior angles of pronotum by nearly three antennomeres, slightly serrated from third antennomere on; second subcylindrical, 1.5× longer than wide; third to tenth subtriangular, on average 2.5× longer than wide, last a little longer than penultimate, subellipsoidal. Pronotum as long as wide, widest at middle, very convex; sides strongly arcuate, equally converging anteriorly and posteriorly from middle, slightly sinuate before posterior angles, latter short, truncate, shortly carinate, slightly divergent; lateral margin very fine, obsolete after middle; puncturation dense, uniformly distributed; punctures deep, simple, approximately of same size, with very short, shiny intervals. Scutellum heart-shaped, as long as wide, slightly emarginate at middle of base, slightly impressed at posterior half, finely punctured. Elytra 2.5× longer than and as wide as pronotum, convex, widest at middle; striae regularly punctured; interstriae subconvex, very finely punctured. Claws simple. Aedeagus as in Fig. 95 (length 1 mm ). Female (Fig. 42). Very similar to male with body larger; antennae shorter, slightly exceeding posterior angles of pronotum. Bursa copulatrix as in Fig. 96, furca as in Fig. 97. Size. Length 6.6–7.7 mm ; width 2.1–2.5 mm . Etymology. This species is dedicated to the collector of the holotype , Attila Podlussány, private coleopterist, an expert of Curculionidae , Budapest.
