(黄Iĸ.瓢+) Diagnosis. This species is close to Shirozuella parenthesis Yu, 2000 in general appearance, but can be distinguished from the later by its distinctive color mark on the elytra ( Figs 1 A–C) and by the strongly upcurved apex of the penis, which is hook-shaped ( Fig. 1F ). In S. parenthesis , the apex of penis is straight. Description. TL: 1.86–1.96 mm , TW: 1.15–1.23 mm , TH: 0.59–0.74 mm , TL/TW: 1.56–1.61, PL/PW: 0.40– 0.44, EL/EW: 1.23–1.32. Body small, elongate oval, weakly convex, dorsum covered with sparse pubescence ( Figs 1 A–C). Head yellow to brown with maxillary palpus dark brown. Pronotum yellowish brown, with a large black spot. Scutellar shield black. Elytron blackish, with two curved yellow marks, the anterior one C-shaped, situated in the middle part, connected to margin of elytron, the other one squarish, located at the apex of the elytron. Ventral surfaces uniformly black, except elytral epipleura yellowish brown. Legs yellowish brown to black. FIGURE 1. Scale bars: A–C : 0.5 mm; D–I : 0.1 mm. Head ( Fig. 1C ) 0.38 × elytral width (EW/HW=2.63); frontal surface of head capsule slightly convex; punctures on frons fine and sparse, with sparse long setae in punctures; eyes large, narrowly separated; widest interocular distance 1.9 × narrowest interocular distance. Pronotum relatively small, 0.69 × elytral width (EW/PW=1.44), pronotal punctures fine, inconspicuous, smaller than those on head, separated by 3.0–4.0 × puncture diameter. Scutellar shield moderately large, triangular, visible from above. Punctures on elytra moderately large, irregular, and obviously larger than those on pronotum, 0.5–2.0 diameters apart. Surface of prosternum slightly shagreened, punctures inconspicuous, with sparse short setae. Mesoventrite slightly shagreened and glabrous, punctures inconspicuous, with several short setae. Metaventrite broad and glabrous, median part concave, with complete median discrimen; punctures sparse and fine, with short sparse setae. Abdominal postcoxal line complete, V-shaped, touching posterior margin of ventrite 1 ( Fig. 1D ). Male genitalia: Penis long and slender, penis capsule inconspicuous ( Fig. 1E ), apex of penis hook-shaped ( Fig. 1F ). Penis guide in lateral view slender, widest at base, tapering to apex, apex pointed and curved ( Fig. 1G ); parameres slender, sparsely setose on apical third, slightly longer than penis guide ( Fig. 1G ); penis guide in ventral view long and slender, almost parallel sided for basal 1/3, widest at apical 1/3, tapering to rounded apex ( Fig. 1H ). Female genitalia: Coxites elongate, 2.7 × as long as wide, tapering to blunt, darker apices, styli distinct, with short terminal setae ( Fig. 1I ); spermatheca not sclerotized. Type material. Holotype : China , Yunnan : 1♂ , Xujiaba , Ailao Mountains , Jingdong ( ƚr•fmłlη ), 2524 m , 17.VIII.2013 , Chen XS leg ( SCAU ) .
