Helsinki Loan Nr. C 02 - 292”. Current status: Conognatha ( Pithiscus ) auricollis Mannerheim, 1837 ( Moore & Lander 2010 ). Comments: Mannerheim (1837) described this species as “ L. auricollis ”, but the genus shorthand “L.” is a typing mistake because this species was listed as the fourth species of the genus Stigmodera . The type material is from “Brasilia, ad Serra da Lapa in provincial Minas Geraës a D. Ménétriés detecta.”. The lectotype housed at the MZHF is labelled as “Brasilia. Min. Geraës” ( Ménétriés leg.).
