Diagnosis ( Figures 2a , 3a , 4a, 4 aa,b) This species is similar to Promalactis diehli Lvovsky, 2000a in the wing pattern, but it can be easily distinguished by the fore wing without a white medial band. The male genitalia are also close to P. diehli Lvovsky , but it can be distinguished by the shorter and thicker juxta bearing dense hairs caudally, and the cucullus heavily sclerotized and the sacculus with a claviform process.
