Diagnosis. Recognized by the moderate size, clearly bicolorous, yellow brown contrasting with castaneous dorsum, sparse dorsal vestiture, terete antennal segments II–IV, shiny head and pronotum, and darkened ventral surface ( Fig. 8 ). Detailed description of the male adult was provided by Schuh (1984) . Female genitalia ( Fig. 9 ): Dorsal labiate plate narrower than ventral labiate plate; sclerotized ring comparatively small. Measurements . Ƥ: Total body length 3.0–3.3; length from apex of clypeus to cuneal fracture 2.25–2.35; head width across eyes 0.63–0.68; vertex width 0.28–0.30; lengths of antennal segment I–IV 0.27–0.29, 0.74–0.78, 0.44–0.46, 0.43–0.45; labial length 1.27–1.35; mesal pronotal length 0.60–0.67; basal pronotal width 0.91–0.96; width across hemelytron 1.06–1.08; and lengths of metafemur, tibia and tarsus 0.90–0.91, 1.15–1.16, 0.27–0.28. Distribution. Laos (Vientiane Prov.), Thailand (Nakhon Ratchasima Prov.). Biology. Collection records suggest this mirid has at least two generations per year. Specimens examined.
