Remarks
The specimens reported in
Welter-Schultes (2012: 92)
do not belong to this species.
Cochlostoma
(
T.
)
braueri
has a flat columellar lobe with the umbilicus visible. The illustrated specimen has a curved columellar lobe obstructing the umbilicus. The ribbing of the
types
and of fresh specimens from the
type
locality is different too. As far as known, this species lives only on Mount Klek.
