Remarks: Included here based on a photographic observation from Rangat, Middle Andaman, that was shared with the author. There are
two specimens
(ZSI 25351 and ZSI 25352) from Cheppo, North Andaman in the collections of the Zoological Survey of
India
, Kolkata. Easily distinguishable from
Cerberus rynchops
by its smooth body scales (vs. strongly keeled in
C. rynchops
).
Status: Nocturnal, non-endemic and rare.
