B. Jack ex Spruce Note Sabovljević (2000) erroneously reports Cephalozia lacinulata J. B. Jack ex Spruce based on the inadequate synonymy of very old names given by Gajić et al. (1991) . This suboceanic species is rare in Europe (see e.g. Hodgetts 2015 ). In neighboring countries its presence in Bulgaria is also uncertain, but it is certainly present in mountain areas of Romania ( Stefanut 2008 ).
