Remarks. The present specimens of A. procera agree well with the type description and extend the known range to the southern Lord Howe Rise. Colour in life. Base colour white. Pereopods with transverse red and white bands. Carapace with diffuse orange-red markings, darkest on peaks of transverse ridges. Distribution. Eastern Australia , the Lord Howe Rise, and New Caledonia ; 450–960 m ( Ahyong & Poore 2004 ; Machordom & Macpherson 2004 ; this study).
