Remarks
. The patterning of the hindwings of the male
holotype
of
peruviana
is comparable to that of the widespread
guianensis
, and both species are knwon from
Madre de Dios
, in southeastern
Peru
. We believe both names likely refer to the same species. Future taxonomic treatments of
Angela
must rule out this possible synonym.
