Morphologically,

is closely similar to another Pyralin genus
Trebania
Ragonot
but is distinct due to
the male genitalia with uncus triangular or tongue-shaped, aedeagus strongly built and vesica without cornutus. Whereas
in
Trebania
,
uncus is oval, aedeagus is narrow and vesica bears cornutus.
