Description. see Van Stalle (1987 : 127; as Oliarus meridianus ) Distribution. “One of the most common pentastirine species south of the equator together with O. hottentottus and Pentastiridius moestus ” ( Van Stalle 1987 : 127). Recorded from South Africa , Mozambique , Tanzania , Zimbabwe . Here recorded from Namibia for the first time (Ohangwena, Caprivi). Ecology. recorded from September to April, probably active during the rainy season ( Van Stalle 1987 )
