The group has been reviewed by Doğanlar & Çam (1991) , and placed by Lotfalizadeh et al. (2007) in the dentata species group which ‘awaits generic placement’. In the absence of evidence concerning the relevant phylogenetic relationships within Eurytominae , E. pistaciae is retained within Eurytoma .
