Fig. 3A–E FIGURES 3A–E. Ochrotrichia limeirai sp. nov. Male genitalia: A, ventral; B, dorsal; C, left lateral; D, phallus, dorsal; E, phallus, left lateral. Scale: 0.1 mm. Description . Holotype . Adult male. Structure typical for Ochrotrichia spp. ( Flint 1972 ) except body length 2.2 mm (from tip of head to end of the folded wings). Length of each forewing 1.9 mm . General color: uniform brown (in alcohol). Head without modification. Tibial spur formula: 1-3-4. Metascutellum subpentagonal. Abdomen without visible modifications. Male genitalia. Sternum IX with anterior margin rounded and posterior margin with two small projections ( Fig 3A ); tergum IX with posterior margin bearing two projected and darker lobes ( Fig. 3B ). Inferior appendages long; oblong with the posterior portion narrower than basal section in lateral view; apex slightly rounded; with long setae over all surface and peg-like setae on the internal surface ( Fig. 3C ). Segment X tergum divided into two elongate processes, right one sinuous, sclerotized, acute and overlying the left one, which is broader basally, with a ventral keel and downturned in lateral view ( Fig. 3D ). Phallus tubular and simple; ejaculatory duct not protruding; with a small pointed projection subapically ( Fig. 3E ). Female and larva unknown. Remarks. This is another member of the O. aldama group with the typical divided tergum X. The new species is similar to O . bipartita Flint & Bueno-Soria, 1999 and O . priapo sp. nov. having the sclerotized and projected apical section of tergum IX. Ochrotrichia limeirai sp. nov. can be easily recognized by its elongate and narrow inferior appendages and shape of the left process of tergum X, which has a dilated basal area, a ventral keel, and is ventrally directed in lateral view. Etymology. This species is named in honor of dipterist Dr. F. Limeira-de-Oliveira (CZMA), who maintained the Malaise traps at Parque Nacional de Ubajara (Ceará) and Parque Nacional de Sete Cidades (Piauí) for two years and collected many of microcaddisfly specimens. Holotype . 1 male , BRAZIL : Ceará: Ubajara, Parque Nacional de Ubajara, 3°50'31.7''S , 40°53'55''W , 13–17.xi.2012 , F. Limeira-de-Oliveira, Malaise trap ( CZMA ). Paratype . Same data as holotype , 1 male ( DZRJ ).
