This species was described from Tahiti. It also occurs in others of the Society Islands,
Samoa
,
Ellice Islands
,
Tonga
, and Funafuti.
It was collected in
Guam
by Fullaway in 1911
. Described by Muir as
Thyrocephalusfullawayi,
it was later synonymized by him with Stal's species. We collected it on quite a variety of trees and plants, but never abundantly.
