(a detailed description and a complete bibliography list).
Material examined:
1 male
,
1 female
(NEIGAE),
1 male
(

),
China
, Jilin Prov., Changbai Shan Mts, Changbai Shan National Park, ca
128º50’E
,
42º00’N
,
1420–1500 m
a.s.l., mixed forest, dead wood,
September 2013
, leg. D. Wu.
Remarks.
This species is easily distinguished by its particularly broad and usually dark reddish-brown paraterga, coupled with a quite stable gonopod structure, including a bifid exomere (
Mikhaljova 2004
). It has hitherto been known throughout
Korea
, as well as in Kyushu,
Japan
and the Maritime Province,
Russia
(
Mikhaljova 2004
). The above samples thus represent the first formal record of
E. koreanus
in
China
.
