A, habitus; B, side of pronotum viewed at 45°; C, mentum and submentum showing chaetotaxy; D, antennomeres 3–11; E. spermatheca; F, pygidium showing principal setae; G, pronotum and elytra showing cell structure x2420; H, mesoventrum x455; I, metaventral posterior margin and coxal plates x455. Etymology . From the Latin armillatus meaning furnished with a necklace and referring to the microtrichae on the elytral cells. Diagnosis . The form of the elytral cells with dense microtrichae giving a pruinose appearance will quickly distinguish this species from all others except segmenta , which is larger and possesses short elytral epipleura making the elytra broader at the shoulders rather than the middle. (Note: other species with pruinose elytra occur in several S. American countries). Type data : Holotype : ♀, GPS31, BOL / Nov 2013/08 , Bolivia 2013, Santa Cruz dep., W.
