Distribution and ecology:
—Mountains of Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Cuba, Jamaica, and Martinique. Wet montane forests at
800–2400 m
on the mainland, and
750–1600 m
on the Caribbean Islands.
