This species is superficially similar to A. fabriciella Swerderus, 1787 , but it can be distinguished by the following characters: frequently more than 40 white dots on the forewing; a comb-like spinose on socii and apex of uncus larger and slenderer respectively; costa of valva without protrusion; corpus bursae without conspicuous pleats, signum smaller than that of A. fabriciella (refer to Sohn & Wu 2013 ). Distribution. Cambodia (Present study), China ( Guangdong , Hainan , Hongkong , Shaanxi), Indonesia ( Bali ), Malaysia ( Perak ), Thailand (Chiangmai), Vietnam (Hochiminh). Host plant. Unknown. Sohn & Wu (2013) described A. wallengreni with or without triangular black scales on their frons. We collected only full white frons individuals in this study. This species is reported from Cambodia for the first time.
