Fung 162 (i.e. Lingnan University Herbarium 17693) ( holotype : NY 00415149 image!; isotype: A 00051649 image!). The name Tetrastigma cauliflorum Merr. was validly published with a gathering “ Tsang, Tang and Fung 17693 ” in NY designated as the type ( Merrill, 1932 ). However, the collecting number on the lable of the holotype specimen is 162, while its herbarium number is Lingnan University Herbarium 17693. Therefore, the erroneous collecting number in the designation of type is to be corrected.
