Remarks — A widespread species, known from Australia ( Western Australia ), the Red Sea, South Africa , South Korea and India (K. Viets 1959, Wiles et al. 2002 , Smit 2003 , Peši´c et al. 2008 , 2009 ). The shape of palp of the specimens from New Guinea is similar to those of Australia , its dimensions are intermediate between specimens from the Red Sea and Australia . PI-PV of a male from this study measure 18, 80, 36, 97, 44. New for the fauna of New Guinea .
