Remarks.
This species has previously been recorded from
Brazil
,
Colombia
,
Guadeloupe

Jamaica
, Marie- Galante,
Martinique

Panama

Saint-Martin

Trinidad-Tobago
. The measurements of five adult females collected are similar to those of the
holotype
except for the longer S4 which is 11 µm long in the original description, and 7–8 µm in the specimens measured by
Moraes
et al
. (1991)
. Lengths of setae z4 and Z
4 in
the
type
material were corrected by
Moraes
et al
. (1991)
. The average measurements for the females collected are: dorsal shield, 268 µm long (252–290) and 160 wide (146–180); ventrianal shield, 93 µm long (88–100) and 68 wide (65–70). Setae j1: 23 (22–26), j3: 34 (32–37), j4, j5: 13 (12–16), j6, J2: 14 (12–16), J5: 7, z2: 21 (20–21), z4: 32 (28–36), z5: 7 (6– 8), Z1: 16 (15–18), Z4: 55 (50–60), Z5: 70 (68–73), s4: 57 (52–62), S2: 30 (28–32), S4: 17 (14–20), S5: 12 (10– 15), r3: 22 (20–24), R1: 16 (13–18), Sge IV: 37 (35–43), Sti IV: 20 (18–22), St IV: 42 (40–45).
