Jarabacoa (Cordillera Central), 30-IX-2008 , six females and two males on Rubus sp. ( Rosaceae ); one female and one male on an unidentified plant; four females on Tibouchina longifolia (Vahl) Baill. ex Cogn. (Melastomataceae) . Remarks. This species has previously been recorded from Brazil , Colombia , Guadeloupe , Jamaica , Marie- Galante, Martinique , Panama , Saint-Martin and Trinidad-Tobago . The measurements of five adult females collected are similar to those of the holotype except for the longer S4 which is 11 µm long in the original description, and 7–8 µm in the specimens measured by Moraes et al . (1991) . Lengths of setae z4 and Z 4 in the type material were corrected by Moraes et al . (1991) . The average measurements for the females collected are: dorsal shield, 268 µm long (252–290) and 160 wide (146–180); ventrianal shield, 93 µm long (88–100) and 68 wide (65–70).
