Bombus terricola
has undergone large contractions in its
US
distribution (
Cameron
et al.
2011
) but with evidence of a recent partial recovery in some areas. Historically, the primarily northern species has been recorded throughout
Michigan
, but only rarely in the SLP (
Husband
et al.
1980
). Recent collections examined are few and restricted to the NLP in
Antrim
, Leelanau, and Oceana Counties and Keweenaw County in the UP.
