Campbell reported that most adults of this species were collected along stream and lake margins. In Alberta, this species was associated with mature forests ( Pohl et al. (2007) . The New Brunswick specimen was collected from moss on a hummock at the base of a tree in an old-growth eastern white cedar swamp during May. Distribution in Canada and Alaska.
