Diagnosis
.
Cyana longmena
sp. n.
(

) is reminiscent of
C. fukiensis
(
Figs 7, 8
) but can be distinguished by the somewhat shorter forewing with thicker transverse lines. The male genital capsule of the new species (
Fig. 11
) differs clearly from that of
C. fukiensis
(
Fig. 12
) in the short tip of the uncus (it is extremely elongate in
C. fukiensis
), the somewhat shorter apico-lateral lobes of the vinculum, and the markedly narrower distal section of the valva. The phalli of the two species are similar. The vesica configuration of
C. longmena
sp. n.
is similar to that of
C. fukiensis
but the dorsal subbasal diverticulum is broader and has markedly larger lateral lobes, and the ventral subbasal diverticulum is longer. Additionally, the subbasal cluster of the new species is wider and consisting of longer spinules. The female genitalia of
C. longmena
sp. n.
(

) differ from those of
C. fukiensis
(
Fig. 14
) in the shorter apophyses anteriores, the anteriorly broader ductus bursae, and the markedly shorter and more globular corpus bursae with a shorter posterior sclerotized area.

External morphology of adults

). Forewing length 10.5–
11 mm
. Antenna sparsely ciliate. Head white. Thorax white with crimson transverse spots medially and posteriorly, tegula and patagia with crimson spots posteriorly. Forewing costa convex medially. Forewing ground color white, transverse lines crimson. Subbasal line thin, strongly dilated at costa, indistinct at anal margin with short thin medial outward dash.Antemedial line slightly curved outwards posteriorly and evenly curved, loop-like, anteriorly, fused with thick outer dash in the medial part of discal cell. Discal spots black, more or less round, posterior one located slightly more outwardly. Postmedial line outwardly oblique, curved medially, dilated posteriorly, orange at costa. Postmedial subcostal dash large, more or less separated from postmedial line. Terminal line evenly narrow. Forewing cilia white. Underside with intense pink suffusion. Hindwing pale crimson pink with yellowish suffusion along costal and anal margins. Hindwing cilia pink. Abdomen white with slight suffusion of pink scales.

. Antenna sparsely ciliate. Forewing wider than in male. Coloration and pattern similar to those of male but antemedial line thinner, more strongly curved, cell with only one round black discal spot and without proximal crimson dash, and postmedial area without subcostal crimson dash.
Male genitalia

). Uncus elongate, slender, dorso-ventrally flattened, apically pointed, basal section somewhat dilated, fused with tuba analis. Arms of tegumen narrow, dilated apically. Vinculum equal in length to tegumen, heavily sclerotized with wide but very short, rounded apico-lateral processes. Intravincular membrane with short corema medially. Valva lobate with medially convex costa, its distal section broad, apically rounded. Ampulla triangular, very short. Sacculus wide. Distal saccular process robust, evenly tapered distally with tin spike-like tip, evenly curved dorsally. Juxta trapezoid with two thin oblique medial crests, weakly sclerotized. Phallus cylindrical, slightly dilated distally, with short, apically rounded coecum. Main chamber of vesica more or less globular with granular area laterally and wide cluster of numerous tiny spinules subbasally. Dorsal subbasal diverticulum broad, almost as large as main chamber, with two broad lateral lobes. Ventral subbasal diverticulum elongate, evenly narrow, granulated. Dorso-distal diverticulum large, semiglobular, granular with elongate narrow transverse cluster of numerous small but robust spinules. Apical section of vesica with elongate, narrow transverse cluster of numerous small but robust spinules. Vesica ejaculatorius broad, projected ventrad, distal plate of vesica stick-like, heavily sclerotized.
Female genitalia

). Papilla analis rectangular with rounded corners, weakly setose. Apophyses thin, posterior one ca. twice as long as anterior one. Ductus bursae tubular, membranous medially and posteriorly, sclerotized anteriorly. Corpus bursae globular with sclerotized rugose posterior half; anterior half membranous with narrow band-like serrulate signum. Appendix bursae conical, sclerotized and rugose proximally, medially membranous apically, positioned postero-ventrally, projecting latero-posteriad to the right side. Bulla globular, membranous, connected to appendix bursae by short ductus.
