Identification.
Reticulations on predorsal, supraoccipital, and interorbital regions. Rostrum present. Cleithral width: 11.0–14.1% SL. Coalescent plates 13–16. Dorsal, pectoral, pelvic, and anal fins lacking filaments. A thin dorsolateral stripe discontinuous and ill-marked present. Dorsal, pectoral, pelvic, and anal fins lacking large, dark blotches occupying almost the entire fin (Londoño-Bur- bano and Reis 2019).
