Trisuloides caerulea
Butler, 1889
, by original designation.
Syntypes
[
India
]: [Punjab], Dharmsala (BMNH).
The monotypic genus
Discepholcia
is treated here as it is the closest ally of
Trisuloides
.
It differs from
Trisuloides
in the shape of the forewing, the black and blue shine/color of the hindwing, well developed tongue-like editum (basal process of costa) in male genitalia, and by structure of female genitalia. Before a complete revision of the other genera of
Pantheinae
has been conducted, we retain
Disepholcia
as a distinct genus, although it has been placed as a synonym of
Trisuloides
by other authors.
