Type
species of the genus.
Bole (1981)
argued that
Lithoglyphus fuscus
is a subspecies of
L. naticoides
characteristic for northern Balkan. Considering all known records are from the 19
th
century, this species could be considered as non-present in the region nowadays. Moreover,
Glöer (2019)
considers the presence of this species only in the
type
locality in
Slovenia
(
Ljubljana
). On the IUCN Red List it has been assessed as LC (
Sket & Cioboiu 2010
).
