) with 2 pairs of posteroangular setae well developed. Mesonotum with median pair of setae far from posterior margin. Metascutum sculptured with longitudinal striae except median anterior third; median pair of setae behind anterior margin. Metaepimeron with two setae. Metaepisternum with setae. Metapre-episternum developed with two setae. Prosternal ferna weakly connected at middle; basantra membranous, without setae; prospinasternum broad and transverse. Mesosternum with sternopleural sutures complete; endofurca with spinula weak; metasternal endofurca without spinula. Fore wing first vein with long gap in setal row, second vein with many setae evenly spaced; clavus with five veinal and one discal seta; posteromarginal fringe cilia wavy. Tarsi 2-segmented. Abdominal tergites I to VIII (

Comments
. This genus is has intermediate character states between
Fulmekiola

Stenchaetothrips
but there are some differences among these genera discussed above.
Etymology
. In reference to Dr. Tsutsumi Tadaaki who collected the species for the first time.
