TYPE SPECIES: Lecadonileia parvistyla , n.sp. ETYMOLOGY: The genus name is a feminine anagram of the Caledonileia Matile, 1993 . COMMENTS: The genus is close to the genus Caledonileia , from which it differs in number and position of ocelli, number of palpomeres, setation of scutum, and in having Sc long, the radial cell wide, M3 long, and gonostyli unilobate ( Matile, 1993 ). The geĀ­ nus differs from Megophthalmidia Dziedzicki in having M 3+4 interrupted at the base and the fork of M 1 and M 2 not shifted anteriorly, so that M 1 reaches the wing margin beyond the wing apex.
