Description
: Valves linear lanceolate, sigmoid with long rostrate apices. Raphe eccentric, fibulae unevenly spaced, the two centric fibulae are more spaced.
Ecology and Distribution:
A widespread brackish water species. Previously reported from the Gulf (
Hendey 1970
, Al-Yamani & Saburova 2011). Frequent in
Basra
corals.
