Colocasiomyia cristata species subgroup, new Diagnosis . Phallapodeme shorter than 1/2 of phallal sheath (ch.47-1; Fig. 11D,F,H ). Distal portion of oviscapt not distinctly differentiated from basal portion (ch.50-1; Fig. 12C ). Shared characters. All coxae and femora dark brown to black at least partly, except for Colocasiomia sumatrana sp. nov. ; all tibiae distally dark brown to black; all tarsi brownish yellow, with darker tarsomere V ( Fig. 15 ). Fore tarsomere II with 4 pegs (ch.14-2; Fig. 7B ). Male abdominal sternite V wider than long (ch.18-0; Fig. 8A ). Epandrium without seta as long as width of epandrium on posteroventral margin (ch.31-1; Fig. 10C,F ). Cercus narrower than 1/2 cercal length; ventral/apical portion more or less differentiated from upper portion (ch.38,39-0; Fig. 10C,F ). Phallal sheath apically not bilobed (ch.42-0; Fig. 11D,F,H ).
