The type specimens of Aegeria monogama and Macrotarsipus lioscelis cannot be distinguished based on external characters and have been collected by the same collector from the same collecting locality, Njala, Sierra Leone . It still seems possible that Camaegeria monogama represents a junior synonym of C. exochiformis , which is also native to Sierra Leone . This decision is left open due to the deplorable condition of the only known specimen of C. exochiformis . The genitalia structures of C. monogama have not been dissected.
