This group contains B. cavicornis (Brendel) , B. curvicera (Motschulsky) , B. luniger (LeConte) , and B. miccosukee Bückle sp. n. All are species of the Atlantic coastal marsh areas from New Brunswick to Florida, with one species also found along the Caribbean coast of Florida. Bowman (1934) treated this group as his Group III.
