DIAGNOSIS
Admedian lines forming an inverted keyhole shaped figure on prodorsal shield; empodia 4rayed and solenidia ending in large knobs. Female tibia I with a small solenidionlike structure next to basis of tibial setae.
FEMALE
(n = 6) Body robust, spindle shaped, 218 (181222), 76 (7382) wide. Color in life, black with white longitudinal wax stripes.
Gnathosoma
: downcurved; basal seta 5 (35); antapical seta 11 (1011); chelicera 31 (2831).
Prodorsal shield
54 (5155), 71 (6372) wide, anterior lobe rounded. Tubercles present, 33 (3235) apart, scapular seta (
sc
) missing. Median line conspicuous on anterior onefifth, between two transverse lines; median line less distinct in the next three fifths and absent on posterior one fifth of dorsal shield. Admedian lines sinuose, recurving posteriorly, forming an inverted keyhole shaped figure. Lateral design a line of three closed and one posteriorly open cell. A short pair of faint submedian lines extending forward from shield tubercles.

ETYMOLOGY
The specific designation
kleithria
is a Greek word meaning keyhole and refers to the inverted figure formed by admedian lines on the prodorsal shield.
REMARKS
Dorsum of tibia I in the female of the new species with a small solenidionlike structure inserted near the base of the tibial seta. A similar structure was described by
Flechtmann (1999)
for
Shevtchenkella gnatholoba
.
