NOTES
: Biology, life history and immature stages unknown. The species is exceedingly common in
Namibia
, and has been collected by hand, at UVlight, in yellow, brown, white and blue pans, in pitfall and Malaise traps and by sweeping a flowering bush. Occurring at high elevations on the Brandberg (
700 m
,
1180 m
,
1200 m
,
1820 m
,
1960 m
,
2000 m
). The distribution pattern of this species indicates a preference for the hyperarid region of
Namibia
; occurring in all Namibian biomes, but principally in the desert and succulent karoo biomes (
Fig. 102
). Recorded in all months of the year, except June; most abundantly from November to February (
vide
Table 2
).
