We examined specimens of this species in Pasitoids Collecion in Hunan Agricultural University. All features agree with original description of You et al . (1987) and they definitely belong to ultor -group of the genus Dolichogenidea . It is similar to D. platyedrae Wilkinson , but differs in the following: antenna as long as body length (the latter slightly shorter); scutellum sparsely punctate (the latter polished and impunctate); ovipositor sheath 2.0× longer than hind tibia (the latter 1.5×); and hind wing broader than the latter ( You et al ., 1987 ).
