Notes Korean specimens present in the MTMA collection have the setae on the posterior half of the propodeum pale yellowish (but in one female all setae are dark brown), the apex of the ovipositor sheath dark brown (as in a Bulgarian female in MTMA; but normally in specimens from northwest and central Europe the apex is yellowish), the mandible, the malar space ventrally and the clypeus brown (but in one female from Korea this was black); the clypeus flattened, without a weak medial convexity and ventrally gradually depressed as in West Palaearctic P. nigripennis .
