Nossidium issyae
sp. n.
. Aa. habitus dorsal, Ab habitus ventral; B. front of head x400; C. spermatheca; D. metaventrum x 830; E. sharp points on posterior intercoxal process of metaventrum x 2120; F. mentum and submentum x 830; G. mesoventrum x320; H. wing.
Etymology
. Named after Miss Isobel 'Issy' Millett, a close friend of the author’s family.
Diagnosis
. The new species may be separated from
N. schuelkei
sp. n.
and
N. katyae
by the form of the mesoventral keel which does not extend below the mesocoxae. In this respect it is similar to
N. pilosellum
, and the North American species
N. americanum
Motschulsky
and
N. amoenum
Motschulsky
but these are less rounded and more parallel sided species.
