Etymology. Named after the genus Arthrocatena . Description. Colonies erumpent, spreading, with elevated and folded center, greenish olivaceous, forming concentric rings, margin smooth, entire or undulate. Reverse black. Mycelium composed of branched, septate, pale brown or brown, smooth, straight, flexuose or torulose, thin-walled hyphae.
