Euro-Nemoral; the species is widespread in Europe (except the southern regions), also recorded in North America ( Canada : Ontario; USA : Connecticut, New York) ( Wilkinson & Scoble 1979 ). Material examined. CRIMEA: 1♂ , 2♀, 23 km S Simferopol, near Angarskij Pereval, mining larva on Acer platanoides L., fieldwork card no. 5049, 22 .vii.2011, leg. A. Diškus, genitalia slide no. AN 494♂ . Remarks. The species is rare in the Crimea: highly limited in distribution (occurs at higher elevations and in shady forests), not abundant mining.
