The name refers to the unusual developmental history with the imaginal phase in late summer and autumn.

Apart from the
type
species there are numerous other new species to be described in the future.
Distribution.
In two separate regions: A narrow zone along the Middle and High Atlas, beginning south of Azrou and reaching up to
Essaouira
at the Atlantic coast, and a small area in the east near Oujda which presumable continues up to the middle of
Algeria
(Fig. 28).
Diagnosis.
Well characterized by the life history, the lightly coloured thoracal nota with only few dark dots in both sexes, and the structures of the male T7 gland and subgenital plate.
