On the morphology and classification of larval water mites (Hydrachnidia, Acari) from springs in Luxembourg Author Martin, Peter text Zootaxa 2006 1138 1 44 journal article 10.5281/zenodo.172007 bd92c31d-534c-4bb2-a395-fb69e7ab01a9 11755326 172007 Thyas palustris Koenike, 1912 Records ( Table 2 ): Benthos samples at four springs in Gutland and in Ösling, 9 individuals ( Gerecke et al. 2005 ). E1 17 larvae, E3 67 larvae, parasitic on Limoniidae . Attribution by comparison with Martin (2003) . Description of larvae ( Figs. 2, 3 ): Martin (2003) . Diagnostic characters of larvae: In contrast to the other Hydryphantidae reported here relatively small in dimensions (e.g. length of idiosoma, leg, chelicera). Remarks: The taxonomic state of T. rivalis Koenike, 1912 , proposed as a synonym of T. palustris by Lundblad (1962) , is still an unsolved problem (Gerecke, pers. comm.). The larval description of Biesiadka & Cichocka (1990) for T. rivalis does not include details that enable a separation from T. palustris .
