Holotype female, China : Inner Mongolia , Xing’an League , Zhaqi (Jalaid Banner). 1983.VI.13. Remarks. Only the female of this species was described by Yang & Yang (1996) . The female was characterized by the V-shaped subgenital plate and the cleft sternum 9 ( Fig. 1 A–1B; see fig. 3 in Yang & Yang 1996 ), which is unusual in Isoperla and may be an artifact of the dried specimen. Color pattern of this species wasindicated as: head yellow, ocellar area with a dark stigma; pronotum yellow, laterally with two wide, dark stripes; legs pale brown; abdominal terga dark, sterna pale brown ( Yang & Yang 1996 , in Chinese). New material needs to be examined to determine the status of this taxon, especially associated male with everted aedeagus.
